Dr. Chips Consulting LLC (DrC) is a specialist consulting firm that has a collective experience in all aspects of the Lighting Industry and enterprise-wide innovation management which spans several decades. We focus on the commercialization of technology.

The principal and founder Dr. Chips, is an internationally recognized lighting industry pioneer, whose experience covers a full 360° perspective of the industry. His past contributions in the lighting industry over 25 years, cover many areas including research, research management, business creation, product and business launch, strategy – standards and regulations. A hallmark of his work includes the forecast of emerging SSL business and launching OSRAM’s American LED lighting business. His contributions have created significant revenue and penetration, in the organization he was involved in.

Dr. Chips also played a key role in the US lighting industry, as the founding member and chair of NEMA SSL Section, in NGLIA, ASSIST and as popular invited speaker at numerous US and international events. He continues to play an influential role in these and other public organizations. He regularly chairs the LEDs and SSL Ecosystem Conference series – a leading international conference.

DrC includes professionals from the lighting and corporate innovation management ecosystem that cover key aspects of lighting business including functions such as product conceptualization, design and development, manufacturing, product launch, marketing and sales. Their experience in the industry is from reputable and leading lighting companies.
